đ Todayâs Scripture:
âWho fed thee in the wilderness with manna, which thy fathers knew not, that he might humble thee, and that he might prove thee, to do thee good at thy latter end.â
âDeuteronomy 8:16 (KJV)
đ Context:
Moses is reminding Israel of how God provided for them supernaturally in the wilderness with manna from heavenâbread no one had ever seen before. It was a daily miracle for 40 years meant to teach dependence and gratitude.
đŹ Reflection:
Sometimes weâre so focused on whatâs next that we forget to honor what God has already done. Israel was headed to a land flowing with milk and honey, but God wanted them to never forget the wildernessâbecause thatâs where they learned who He was. The manna wasnât glamorous. It was daily. Ordinary looking. Humbling. But it was miraculous provision that kept them alive when they had nothing else.
Gratitude grows deeper when you learn to thank God for the ordinary supernaturalâthe quiet ways He sustains you, feeds your hope, and covers your needs without fanfare. Donât despise small beginnings or humble seasons. Those are the places God proves Himself faithful. Remember the manna so you donât lose perspective when the blessings multiply. The God of more is also the God of just enoughâand both are equally miraculous.
đđ˝ Prayer:
Lord, remind me daily of the mannaâthe ways Youâve provided and carried me. Let gratitude shape my perspective and prepare me for what Youâll do next. Thank You for being my source. In Jesusâ Name, Amen.
