đ âFor it is by grace you have been saved, through faithâand this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God.â â Ephesians 2:8 (NIV)
đ Context:
Paul wrote to the church in Ephesus reminding them that salvation wasnât earned by rituals or outward acts but received through faith. In a culture full of temples, traditions, and sacrifices, he redirected their focus to the inward transformation of the heart by Godâs Spirit.
đŹ Reflection:
Salvation isnât a church membership, a ritual, or a ceremonyâitâs a rebirth inside the soul. Baptism, communion, and worship are beautiful symbols, but they canât replace the spirit that changes how we think, speak, and live.
Many honor God with their lips but never invite Him into their hearts. True salvation is not what you do publiclyâitâs who you become privately. When grace enters the heart, actions follow naturally.
đđœ Prayer:
Lord, remind me that salvation begins within. Purify my heart, renew my thoughts, and let my faith show through the way I live. Keep me from blind symbolism and help me walk in true transformation. In Jesusâ Name, Amen.
