📖 Today’s Scripture:
“But when you give to the needy, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing.” — Matthew 6:3 (NIV)
📚 Context:
In teaching about giving, Jesus warned against helping others for public recognition. True Kingdom work is done in humility, trusting that God,(not people) will reward faithfulness.
💬 Reflection:
Our culture often rewards loud generosity, but Heaven celebrates the quiet helper who serves without applause. Kindness doesn’t need a camera or a crowd; its reward is in knowing you’ve reflected God’s heart to someone in need.
When you help without expectation, you keep the focus on God’s love instead of your name. This humility keeps your heart pure and your witness strong. God can use even the smallest, most unnoticed act to bring light to someone’s darkest moment.
🙏🏽 Prayer:
Lord, make me a vessel of quiet, humble kindness. Teach me to serve with pure motives and let my actions point people to You, not me. I trust You to multiply the good I do for Your glory. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
