💰“Master It Or Be Mastered by It”

📖 Today’s Scripture:

“No one can serve two masters. Either you will hate the one and love the other, or you will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and money.”

—Matthew 6:24 (NIV)

📚 Context:

In Jesus’ Sermon on the Mount, He challenges the crowd’s loyalty and motivation. This wasn’t a random verse about money—it was a deeper teaching about where your heart truly belongs. Jesus knew many were torn between spiritual devotion and material ambition. He wasn’t condemning money—He was confronting what ruled the heart.

💬 Reflection:

Many people claim to love God but live every day making decisions based on dollars, not direction. The pursuit of money can slowly become your master if you’re not careful—shaping your thoughts, your relationships, even your integrity. And the danger is it happens silently. That’s why Jesus said you can’t serve both. One will lead you, the other will use you.

God’s not asking you to be broke—He’s asking you to be balanced. Let money be your servant, not your master. When God leads, provision follows. Keep your spirit clean, your hands honest, and your decisions aligned with purpose—not pressure. Master the mission—and the Master will handle the means.
