đ Todayâs Scripture:
âSo I sent messengers unto them, saying, I am doing a great work, so that I cannot come down.â â Nehemiah 6:3 (KJV)
đ Context:
When Nehemiah was rebuilding the wall of Jerusalem, his enemies tried everything to stop himâmockery, false accusations, and invitations to distract him from his work. But Nehemiah knew his assignment came from God. He refused to leave his post to defend his reputation or prove himself to people who were not part of Godâs plan. His focus was on finishing what God gave him to do.
đŹ Reflection:
Sometimes the loudest voices in your life are the ones telling you to stop, explain yourself, or defend your name. But when God gives you an assignment, you canât afford to waste energy proving who you are to people who will never see it. Distractions arenât always evilâthey can come as opportunities, debates, or drama that look worth your time.
When you stay locked in on Godâs work, you realize that your proof is in the finished product, not in the back-and-forth. Protect your post. Keep building. The wall will speak for itself when the work is done.
đđ˝ Prayer:
Father, help me to see distractions for what they are. Keep my eyes on the mission Youâve given me. Let my lifeâs work be my testimony, and my focus be my defense. In Jesusâ Name, Amen.
