đ âSo too, at the present time there is a remnant chosen by grace.â â Romans 11:5 (NIV)
đ Context:
Paul reminded believers in Rome of Elijahâs story, when the prophet thought he was alone in serving God. God revealed that there were still seven thousand in Israel who had not bowed to Baal. Even in widespread rebellion, God preserved a faithful remnant.
đŹ Reflection:
In todayâs world, itâs easy to feel outnumbered when standing for righteousness. Culture often celebrates what God rejects, and faith can feel like swimming against a raging current. Many compromise, but a few remain firm.
The remnant is not forgottenâitâs chosen. God honors those who stay faithful, and through them He preserves hope for generations. The crowd may rebel, but the remnant carries the blessing.
đđœ Prayer:
Lord, strengthen me to stand as part of Your remnant. Keep me from bowing to pressure or compromise. Let my faithfulness bring honor to You and light to others in dark times. In Jesusâ Name, Amen.
