đ Scripture (NIV):
âCast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.â â 1 Peter 5:7
đ Context:
Peter wrote to believers under heavy trials, reminding them that Godâs care was strong enough to carry what they couldnât. The call wasnât to harden their hearts but to place burdens in Godâs hands.
đŹ Reflection:
Itâs easy to confuse love with control. We want to rescue, to fix, to carry the full weight for someone we care about. But when our hands grip too tightly, our spirit gets heavy, and before we know it, anxiety becomes our daily bread. God doesnât ask us to stop caringâHe asks us to stop carrying what isnât ours.
Let your heart stay soft, but let your grip stay loose. Pray over them, encourage them, and then release them to the God who never sleeps. His hands are bigger, His reach is longer, and His care is stronger than ours could ever be.
đđ˝ Prayer:
Lord, I release what I canât control. Keep my heart open but my spirit free from burdens You didnât assign. Teach me to trust that You are working where I cannot. In Jesusâ Name, Amen.
