📖 “Remember how the Lord your God led you all the way in the wilderness these forty years, to humble and test you in order to know what was in your heart, whether or not you would keep his commands.” – Deuteronomy 8:2 (NIV)
📚 Context:
Israel wandered in the wilderness for 40 years because of their disobedience and lack of faith. Yet even in their failure, God used the time to humble, teach, and prepare them for the Promised Land.
💬 Reflection:
Delays caused by bad decisions can feel like wasted years. But God wastes nothing. The wilderness was Israel’s feedback—it revealed their need for faith and obedience before stepping into greater blessings.
Your setbacks are classrooms where God teaches dependence and discipline. Failure doesn’t disqualify you—it develops you into someone prepared for the promise.
🙏🏽 Prayer:
“Father, thank You for using even my failures to teach me. Help me not to see delays as wasted but as preparation for what’s ahead. Strengthen me to learn quickly and move forward in obedience to Your will. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”
